Doggy Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026.
Alestan Alves is responsible for Doggy and the processing described in this policy. For privacy questions, support or personal-data requests, contact contato@ackercode.com.
1. How Doggy works
Doggy is a focus timer with dogs, rooms and optional Pro features. You can use the timer without an account. The initial iOS release stores progress on your device; accounts and progress synchronization are not enabled. Pro verification uses the App Store and RevenueCat, so not all information involved in operating the app stays on your device.
The app does not integrate advertising networks, request Apple's advertising identifier, or use tasks and focus history for advertising. Subscription analytics are separate from personal focus statistics.
2. On-device information
Doggy stores durations, goals, language, accessibility and sound preferences, your dog and room, tasks and intentions you enter, completed sessions, routines, coins, gifts, decorations and timer state locally. These records let you resume using the app and view progress. We do not send tasks or focus sessions to RevenueCat.
Local storage and backup files do not have an additional encryption layer implemented by Doggy. Device protection and system backups depend on your settings. The app does not provide its own iCloud synchronization; this does not prevent iPhone system backups.
The free calendar's limitation concerns viewing, not retention: local history is not automatically deleted after one day.
3. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes payments. Doggy does not receive your full payment-card number, Apple password or banking credentials.
RevenueCat verifies purchases, restores access rights, maintains subscription status and provides plan analytics. It processes transaction records, product, price/currency, store, dates, renewal and Pro access information associated with an SDK-generated identifier that does not contain your name or email. This identifier does not imply absolute anonymity.
The SDK also sends app/system versions, device model, languages, store region and, when available, the iOS identifier for vendor (IDFV). The receiving internet service sees the connection's IP address. Pro checks may occur when the app opens, even without an active purchase.
This processing delivers and restores purchased features, prevents fraud and supports subscription analytics. See the Apple and RevenueCat policies.
4. Screen Time
Distraction blocking is optional and requires your authorization in iOS. You can block all apps and websites supported by the system or make a custom selection. Some essential apps remain available. This permission does not enable Focus/Do Not Disturb.
The selection uses Apple's opaque identifiers. These identifiers, the blocking mode and session-control data stay on your device and are shared with Doggy's own extensions to apply and remove restrictions. We do not send the selection to RevenueCat or collect other apps' usage reports, browsing history or content.
You can disable protection in Doggy or revoke permission in iPhone Settings.
5. Optional permissions and features
- Notifications: alerts and reminders are scheduled locally after permission, without registering a remote push token. They do not contain your task text.
- Live Activity: the dog and remaining time may appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, visible to anyone who can see your screen. Task text is excluded. Controls are available in the app and system settings.
- Calendar and Reminders: the app accesses destination calendars/lists so you can choose where to save, and exports only requested items. Events may contain intention, time and duration; reminders contain the selected task. We do not import existing events or tasks. Your calendar provider may synchronize copies according to your settings.
- Photos and files: saving wallpaper or importing/exporting a backup uses the required permissions and your chosen destination. We do not upload your photo library.
- Audio: sounds are bundled with the app. We do not record your microphone.
The basic timer does not need camera, contacts or location access. You can change permissions in Settings; denying access may prevent the corresponding feature.
6. Sharing, backups and support
Backups can contain tasks, intentions, history, progress and preferences. They exclude credentials, purchase records, Screen Time selections and the running timer. You choose when and where to import/export. Sharing cards show progress and your room without task text. Nothing is posted automatically.
Blocking diagnostics, if you choose to share them, contain app/iOS versions, authorization, blocking mode, selected-item counts, session state/times and failure codes. They exclude app names, selection tokens, session identifiers and tasks. The system share sheet requires you to choose a destination; nothing is sent automatically.
When requesting support, you provide the message information, such as email, description and attachments. Include only what is needed. The @ackercode Instagram profile is an external service and messages there are also subject to that platform's policy.
7. Purposes, providers and transfers
We process information to deliver requested features, validate purchases, provide support, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, legal bases may include performance of a contract, consent where required, legal obligations and legitimate interests in security and service operation, subject to your rights. An iOS permission is not blanket consent for unrelated purposes.
App Store and RevenueCat services support purchases and may process information outside your country. Where required, transfers must follow applicable safeguards and contractual commitments. You may request information about providers and safeguards using this policy's contact details.
We do not sell tasks or focus history or share them with advertising networks. Opening external pages provides their hosting service with technical connection information, not your Doggy history.
8. Retention and deletion
Local history has no automatic expiration period. You can erase progress in Settings → Account and sync → Erase all my data. This resets profile progress and preferences and removes Screen Time selections and local backups. Some auxiliary settings, such as language and system-export references, may remain.
Local deletion does not cancel subscriptions, remove App Store/RevenueCat purchases, or erase exported files, wallpapers, messages, events or reminders already sent. Manage those copies at their respective destinations. Uninstallation and system-backup restoration depend on iOS behavior.
Purchase and support information is retained as needed for its purposes and applicable obligations, including transaction records, fraud prevention and handling requests. We do not promise automatic deletion of Apple's independent records. Contact us to request review or deletion of information processed by us and our providers; we will explain any legally required retention.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or processing information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. We may require proportionate identity verification. You may contact your data protection authority. For on-device-only records, use local controls: we have no remote copy to recover.
10. Children and updates
Doggy is a general-audience productivity app without child accounts, advertising targeted at children or public profiles. Minors should have the guidance and permissions required by applicable law and store rules. Contact us if you believe a child has improperly sent us personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We will update this policy when app behavior or obligations change, with a new date and appropriate notice of material changes. Introducing accounts, progress synchronization or new data uses requires updated information before the corresponding processing begins.
